We are participating at Ajujaht (or Brainhunt if translated directly to English), the largest business idea competition in Estonia. Last time we got great news that we have been selected to the final TOP7 teams. What it means for us, is constant filming, task fulfilling and working on our products with all the mentors we have.
The Task
What would you do with the investment worth of 60,000 euros?
Delivery from Feelingstream
Firstly, we got a great surprise that Ajujaht had appointed a mentor for us. Ours is Ranno Pajuri, a marketing and strategic development guru from Target One. Ranno is the former marketing director of Eesti Energia, Estonian largest energy company, who now helps Äripäev achieve their marketing goals. Ranno delivered us the task and has helped us since on our journey.
Before and at the filming day, we had a discussion with both our mentors, Ranno and Stanislav, who agreed with our plans. We decided that this money could help us go to speak to our customers to make validation with around 5 additional customers. In result, we would have an opportunity to get about 2-3 new customers, stronger idea and more experience in B2B sales.
Filming is tough! The day was so long, we had to present to the jury as almost the last ones, so you could already see our tired faces on the TV. However, we can tell you a great secret – the Estonian Public Broadcasting’s TV studio is so spacious, so when you feel tired, you can always find another studio to take a little nap in (No, we didn’t take beauty sleeps on the sofas in Terevisioon’s studio:))
The feedback we got from the jury has helped us a lot. They expressed clearly that our solution is way too unclear and technical and advised us to work on that. We have come a long way with the help of Ranno and the mentor we got from Prototron, Thorsten Linz. You will hear more about our progress but we’re content we got this kind of feedback at the beginning of the show.
This time the jury consisted of Mart Maasik (SEB), Kriss Soonik-Käärmann (Kriss Soonik Loungerie), Erki Mölder (EAS), Kristi Täht (Marat) & Indrek Kasela.
The episode aired yesterday evening and you can check it here: http://etv.err.ee/v/077da50e-e791-4cff-bf45-a2c1d6360564 – just hold back, it’s in Estonian 🙂
Good luck in the competition to all teams and let’s continue in a week!
